Hi-ho! It's been four years since my last round of spring cleaning, and in truth there's not a whole lot to clean up these days. But hey, making forum posts is kinda nostalgic - so let's do another!

Hello! It's your favourite (and only) co-admin again, doing the usual rounds while talking to himself.

I'm going to put this simply: After seven years of neglect, CHHL's CSS is coming apart at the seams. There are parts I can't even get to, and those bits I can access are exactly the mess of classes and tags you'd expect from an inexperienced 14-year-old.

I can't feasibly rewrite the entire style sheet. I can fix up the bits I can understand, and fortunately Forumotion's default tools are just flexible enough for me to plaster over a couple of the bigger problems. Changes from here on will be mostly visual: and most of those will be for readability. There are a couple of exceptions, and I'll go into the reasoning behind those in the changelog.

Other than visual changes, this forum will remain as-is: A semi-living museum, of sorts. I'll keep trimming down new features as they pop up, unless they're non-intrusive, to keep the forum as faithful to its 2011 self as possible.

Hello! Welcome to our dusty little corner of the web. I’m not sure how you got here, but grab yourself a snack and settle in - after all, it’s not like there’s anyone around to complain anymore.

So, if my forum rank and name colour didn’t give it away, I’m part of the administration team for CHHL. More precisely, I was for forum’s graphic designer and HTML monkey: if it’s not part of the standard Forumotion package, chances are I was the one who made it.

I’m still playing that role today (~~2019~~ ~~2021~~ 2023!, at last edit). There’s no two ways about it: CHHL’s an old ungainly beast, and the tacked-on CSS I built at 14 is starting to crack under its own weight. …
